In the last year of WW II, a young jewish theaterstar named Rachel Steinn, joins the Dutch resistance after trying to escape from the Germans. The group which she joins is eliminated and unfortenutaly she is falsely accused of these events. However, after the liberation in 1945 she is able to trace and discover the traitor. She takes revenge...
Paul Verhoeven is now making the biggest budgeted Dutch movie ever called 'Zwartboek'. With a budget of 16 mio euro's, The Hague is watching the transformation of Javastraat & Surinamestraat.
